Fee system
Pay-as-you-throw: No
Description of the fee system: Through the use of large refuse containers with volume-related sluice locks in the area of multi-family houses / large residential complexes, the possibility of an incentive function exists to prevent waste. A particular household is assigned to a specific large container for residual waste, of which each household by means of a chip, magnet or metal card can use a flexible volume, which is then billed according to the originator. It is generally assumed that households, that thus the households have a incentive to increase the sepearate collection of recycables, resulting in a reduction of residual waste, but also possibly leads to the use of unwanted disposal routes.
Annual waste fee: 17880 €/cap
