Responsibility of collection: Swansea Council runs a bulky waste collection scheme to its residents, collecting large electrical items (eg fridges and freezers). The bulky waste collection is collected from the kerb, and residents have to contact the council to make an appointment and pay for the service. Council also has five Household Waste Recycling Centres where residents can take their WEEE waste for free. The Centres accept: household batteries, electrical goods, fluorescent tubes, fridges and freezers, large domestical electrcial appliances, and TVs and monitors.
